cI loved the flowers exercise. The complexity of the shape pushed me to abstraction. I wish I would have taken it farther. I kept asking myself if this shape has a flower essence. I might try it again. I was fighting my natural tendency to capture all of the detail when I should have relaxed and lessen the detail and embrace the organic flow. A great lesson in general…

Today I watched again the flower video and want to do a study of roses. What I wanted to express is my big thanks to you for two main things: that I learned so much and that you give me a unbelievable great motivation to paint in every free minute / hour (beside my fulltime job).
