Artists will begin with an initial free Zoom session with mentor Rosso to discuss their needs and expectations, ensuring the program is a good fit.

If accepted into the premium program, artists will work on and receive guidance regarding their agreed-upon plan.

Program Structure:

12 Private Zoom Sessions: Over 12 months, artists will have 12 one-hour sessions with mentor Rosso.
Full access to the 6-Month PLUS Program and participation in live group Zoom sessions while the course is active. Please note that feedback on assignments from the 6-Month Program is not included.

Hi, I’m Rosso, Your Mentor

I’m Rosso, an Italian-born fine art painter currently living in the UK. My passion lies in contemporary portraiture, where I blend traditional painting techniques with abstract elements to create something fresh and unique.

I’ve been painting professionally for over 10 years, and during that time, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching hundreds of students from around the world, both online and in person. My work has been recognized with several awards, including the Jackson’s Painting Prize for Figurative Work in 2016, and I’ve been a finalist in top international competitions like ModPortrait 2023 and the Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize.

I’ve also had the privilege of appearing on Sky’s Portrait Artist of the Year (2019/2021) and have been featured on the cover of The Artist Magazine (UK), as well as in publications like International Artist Magazine, Colossal, Create! Magazine, Artist & Illustrator, and Vogue India. My paintings have been exhibited in amazing spaces like the MEAM Museum in Barcelona and The Mall Galleries in London.

One of the things I’m most passionate about is teaching. I love sharing my approach to contemporary figurative painting, and it’s just as fulfilling for me as the process of creating the work itself.
